The Altemasi Brut, made in the metodo classicowinemaking style, is cultivated from the highly regarded Trento DOC appellation. This 100% Chardonnay wine is produced from a selection of 100% grapes that first are hand harvested and vinified in stainless steel tanks, followed by second fermentation in the bottle and aged on the lees for 15 months.
Ackerman was established in 1811 in the small town of Saumur. A visionary and entrepreneur, Jean-Baptiste Ackerman was drawn to Saumur for its mineral-rich tufa soil, which produces wines with effervescence and naturally high acidity. Pioneering the production of high quality, méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines in the region, Maison Ackerman remains a benchmark of quality, producing wines of exceptional elegance and remarkable value. A blend of 70% Chenin Blanc, 20% Chardonnay and 10% Cabernet Franc, all grapes are hand-harvested and then produced in the traditional method with a second fermentation in bottle. The wine is then aged sur lie for 12 to 18 months.
Pere Ventura’s wine producing vocation is rooted in a family tradition dating back to the 19th century. Today, the family’s ultimate goal is to produce Cava of the highest quality and elegance. All Pere Ventura Cavas are vinified using the traditional method of sparkling wine production. Tresor Brut is a blend of 40% Xarel-lo, 40% Macabeo and 20% Parellada. Grapes are hand harvested and de-stemmed before they undergo a first fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by second fermentation in bottle.
Working only with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from Champagne’s most coveted Grands and Premiers Crus blended with the best crus of Pinot Meunier, Boizel’s intimate knowledge of each village and hillside coupled with longstanding grower relationships allows them the ability to select the finest quality grapes for their Champagnes. Only first pressings are used, with 30% of reserve wines from the previous two vintages used in the cuvée to ensure consistency and freshness. After secondary fermentation, the wine is aged for three years sur lie in bottle.
Villa Marcello was built in the 17th century in Fontanelle, within Prosecco DOC Treviso – one of the finest growing regions of Prosecco. As a Millesimato, the Villa Marcello Prosecco uses grapes from a single vintage only (85% Glera, 15% Pinot Bianco). Fourteen days of primary fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 57ºF using specially selected yeast. The wine then undergoes four months of lees aging, with second fermentation occurring over approximately 60 days in autoclave at a controlled temperature.
André Jacquart is a true “grower Champagne” – run by the 5th generation, the Domaine encompasses 24 hectares of vines in the Côte de Blancs. This 100% Chardonnay is vinified in a combination of stainless steel and old oak barrels. The wine is aged for 5 years on the lees before disgorgement.
