Even if we have to dress up to receive the new year our living room or if you want to receive the new year on your PJs do it with the sparkling wine on hand! I have amazing suggestions for you. They are widely available all through the US and some of them even Mexico so look out for them and let’s toast for the blessings that we have had in this challenging year. Might the next year bring strength and health to us!
The Sparklings
For my Prosecco lovers:
Bottega Gold Prosecco DOC NV (750ml/$32.99) – This year has been particularly special for me as I deeply dive into Prosecco. I want to recommend this one that is one of my favorites of all time. Bottega Gold Prosecco DOC is fresh and lively. Perfect to enjoy as an aperitif or matched with cheese and charcuterie. Also, its vibrant gold packaging makes a beautiful addition to holiday tables.
For my Champagne Lovers
Champagne Vollereaux Rosé de Saignée Brut NV (750ml/$54.99) – What’s not to love about a Rosé Champagne? Volleraux pairs equally well with cheeses and fruit-based desserts. This Champagne house goes above and beyond the minimum requirements. The result is a mouthfeel champagne with all those notes we look for it on a Champagne, a full-bodied palate of red berries and fresh brioche.
Champagne Boizel Brut Réserve NV (750ml/$49.99) – This Brut Reserve is the ambassador of the Boizel House. Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Champagne’s most coveted Grands and Premiers Crus blended with the best crus of Pinot Meunier, this sparkler is delightful on its own and a perfect match for those hearty holiday classics. Save this for the special toast on the edge of the New Year. I will be toasting with this one to your health.
For my Cremant Lovers
Côté Mas Crémant de Limoux Brut NV (750ml/$19.99)– From the birthplace of sparkling wine, Côté Mas Crémant de Limoux Brut is produced in the traditional method. Its elegant palate – characterized by honey, acacia, candied lemon and fresh citrus – makes it an excellent aperitif and also carries it through a meal.
For my Cava Lovers
Paul Cheneau Lady of Spain Brut NV (750ml/$14.99)– Experience the region of Penedes with Lady of Spain Brut – a fine, delicate, and clean cava that offers lightly toasted pastry notes and ripe fruit. Savor the long finish alongside a savory winter tart.
Last but not least, a unique find:
A sparkling Chilean wine:
Mujer Andina Ai! Brut (750ml/$16) This sparkler is fresh and crisp on the nose, boasting lemon and ripe orchard fruits while the palate bursts with continued flavors of lemon, apricot, and green herb notes. Grapes: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Click here to find this one!
