My name is Martha, but my best friends have been calling me WineDivaa since college. I am not just a wine blogger, content creator, and Sommelier; I am a true advocate for a diverse wine industry. In this regard, Wine Enthusiast named me Future 40. I am also a technologist, leveraging my skills to bring innovation and efficiency to the world of wine. I am a passionate advocate for the intersection of wine and technology.
As the Founder of Latinas Wine Club Inc., I have created a community and technological platform with a unique approach to wine education. Our initiative, ‘Educate, Empower, and Elevate Through Wine, ‘is a testament to my leadership and vision. Hence, we believe in making wine education accessible and inclusive, breaking down the barriers that often deter individuals from exploring the world of wine. Moreover, this endeavor positions me as one of the few rising Latina Wine Educators in the Northeast, a role I am proud to hold and one that inspires and connects with you.
The Court Master of Sommeliers awarded me a Scholarship to complete the Sommelier Level 1, further fueling my passion. I also hold a merit WSET 2 diploma, Sherry Wine Specialist, and a Cava Educator certificate. Moreover, I am a wine lover.

How Did I Get Into Wine?
My upbringing in Mexico lacked wine, with our table always graced by beer or tequila. However, my time studying in Madrid and Barcelona sparked a reconnection with my Spanish heritage and a profound discovery of the world of wine. From a non-wine culture to a passionate wine enthusiast, this personal odyssey is a testament to the transformative power of wine and its ability to inspire us all.
