As a wine blogger and Certified Sommelier in the works, am working daily on getting the wine and food pairings that are typical and creating pairings out of the box. I consider myself a foodie, and having access to exclusive wine events in New York where I get to experience the best of food and wine in the mecca of wine makes it even better. Therefore, I have many food and wine influences. Growing up in Mexico, wine was not part of our table, but the savory dishes were.
After living in Spain and New York, I have acquired an epicurean taste. For the most part, I follow a Mediterranean diet however Mexican Food and Asian Fare are also of my favorites. I am preparing to take my Certified Sommelier Exam and I would like to specialize in providing wine and food recommendations.
