During Pandemic times we have to say cheers on many things; our health, the safety of our family and friends and the environment we are living in. Hence, today in World Cocktail Day let me share with you the recipe of one of a kind cocktail “The Elusive Cocoloupe”. The Elusive Cocoloupe is made an Award-Winning Source One Vodka from Bently Estate Distillery’s , a LEED environmentally friendly producer.
● 1.5oz Source One Vodka
● 0.75oz Lemon juice
● 0.75 Orange juice
● 0.75 Coco Lopez Coconut Cream
● 0.5oz Amaro Nepéta
● 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
● Three 1-inch cubes of Fresh Cantaloupe
● Top with Soda
● Brulé Cantaloupe & Micro Peppermint Garnish
Muddle cantaloupe in bottom of shaker tin until all chunks are softened. Add remaining ingredients and gently shake with ice. Pour over crushed ice and top with Peychauds.
This drink has been created by Bently Estate Distillery’s Artisan Mixologist Lucas Huff. Getting into why this drink is so amazing, Huff says “This drink is as interesting as it is delicious. Fresh cantaloupe and coconut flavors are combined with citrus to brighten things up a bit now more than ever. Amaro Nepéta and peychaud’s bitters are added to boost herbaceous notes and give the drink a nice level of complexity, add some spiritz and a candied chunk of cantaloupe to bring everything home.”
