A Taste of Romance and Heritage with Pasqua Winery

Discovering the heart of Valpolicella

My recent visit to Pasqua Winery was a journey into the soul of this captivating region, where the passion for winemaking is interwoven with centuries of tradition. Located near Verona, their winery is steeped in history, romance, and, of course, wine.

Pasqua wines capture the essence of the most incredible love history book of all time: Romeo and Juliet in their wines and the passion they invest in winemaking as Romeo pursued Juliet. It is a vivid analogy also reflected in the names of some of its wines and the design of some of its wine labels.

Pasqua Winery, a family-owned business since its founding in 1925, has earned a reputation for producing exceptional wines that showcase the unique wine production method of the Valpolicella area. Their commitment to quality and innovation has garnered them numerous accolades, including prestigious awards like the Mundus Vini Grand Gold Medal and the Sommelier Wine Awards.  From their classic Valpolicella Classico to their innovative single-vineyard expressions, Pasqua wines consistently capture the essence of Veneto’s rich winemaking heritage.

A legacy built on passion

The story of Pasqua Winery began nearly a century ago with brothers Angelo and Natale Pasqua, who started their journey by selling grapes from their family’s vineyards. Their dedication and entrepreneurial spirit led them to establish their winery, laying the foundation for a globally recognized name in Italian wine. Today, the winery is led by the third generation of the Pasqua family, who continue to uphold the traditions of their forefathers while embracing modern techniques and sustainable practices.

Tasting notes from the heart of Verona
