Books to fall in love with wine

I’ve been thinking about some of the best wine books out there. While many people often refer to Jancis Robinson’s “The Oxford Companion to Wine” or Karen McNeil’s “The Wine Bible” as top reference books, I believe a truly exceptional wine book is more than just a reference guide. It should share the stories of the people behind the wine and delve into the fascinating histories of different wine regions.

A standout wine book inspires you to experiment with wine and food pairings, perhaps even to go out with your partner that night, or order a wine delivery for an impromptu get-together. Hence, I recommend some of my favorite wine books to help you ignite your passion for wine.

Mexican Wines: A Guide to Fall in love with Wines of Mexico

Author: Martha Cisneros Paja

I had to recommend first my own authored book! The “Mexican Wines: A Guide to Fall in Love With Wines of Mexico“. This is a comprehensive guide that delves into the rich history of Mexican wines, provides practical information about the wine regions, and offers recommendations for exploring ten different styles of Mexican wines. You’ll learn about the cultural significance of these wines, which have been evolving since the XV century in the Americas. In addition, I share personal stories of their journey as a Mexican immigrant in the elite wine industry of New York, connecting the reader to the deep-rooted traditions and international influences that make Mexican wine so unique.
