Fresh seafood cooked to order at Thanasis Fish Tavern a family-owned authentic homemade greek food restaurant. I encourage you to visit them if you are ever around Athens, they are not in Downtown rather in a more local neighborhood named ‘Agia Paraskevi’. The owner will just treat you like a Greek god. Their fried fish and catch of the day is to die for. Everything is authentic and made it right in the moment. Shrimps on their own sauce and butter are beyond delicious.
I paired all this with a white greek wine blend made out of Sauvignon Blanc and a greek grape Assyritiko ! It is very acid, light and crisp wine!

Mientras estuve en #Atenas🇬🇷 disfrute de una mezcla de vino blanco griego hecho de Sauvignon Blanc y una uva griega Assyritiko! ¡Vino muy ácido, ligero y crujiente! . Este vino maridado con un delicioso pescado frito y calamares asados con aceite de oliva y bueno que les cuento de las ensaladas. Todo esto en unn auténtico restaurante griego ubicado en Atenas, es comida casera griega tradicional y exquisita. El nombre del barrio se llama Agia Paraskevi y ahi encontraras la taberna Thanasis. El dueño los atenderá como verdaderos dioses griegos.
